I'm a computer guy. But I'm not somebody who can fix your email. And
if you tell me that you're thinking of getting a computer, I won't
give you any advice--I'm not that kind of computer guy.
I write software. Well, I wrote software until my friend Latif and I
started our own company. We wrote a cool security program, and I got
caught up in the managing and running and growing of the company. I
spent more time traveling than at home; more time out of the country
than in. Eventually we sold out to a great big computer company for a
lot more money than we needed but still not as much as we wanted. I
still work and travel and manage for that company, and every now and
then I get to write some security software for them.
As I do my globetrotting, I email cool facts, tales of my adventures,
and lessons that I learned to my friends and family. I took these
emails, sort of cleaned them up, and put them on taleblazing.com.
Most of these adventures really happened, except for the April Fools'
story from Singapore, and the story about the little garden. But
you'll get to them later on.
In the meantime, sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride. I sure did.
